The wedding I've been waiting for!
Yes I do love every wedding I shoot - I promise!
But I've known these guys for years and Heather being one of my closest friends - I really have been waiting for this wedding for what feels like a life time!!!
IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT !
I met Heather in the morning at The Harbour Heights Hotel, where I was greeted by a room with a stunning view of Poole Bay and an abundance of bridesmaids and flower girls (12 in total!) with clothes and make up galore! We had tears, laughter and maybe a slight bit of stress due to Heather forgetting her wedding underwear! But we got there in the end!
I was lucky enough to have my favourite side kick with me on 22nd July, so Lisa managed to capture the Groomsmen prep!
Something I want to offer a lot more of in the future! Over at Heather and Andy's house there appeared to also be tears, laughter and probably some stress too!
Now for the fun part!
The whole day was great fun, we were blessed with glorious sunshine - maybe slightly too hot but I will not complain about the sun!!!
There was laughter from the ceremony through to the child tantrums when it was family photo time, back to roars of laughter as Andy sung a song to Heather for his speech, on to him dancing to the bestman speech - I'm to sexy for my shirt... The dance did continue on the dance floor later... but the camera had been put away by this time!
Set in the stunning grounds of The Orangery Suite, Ed & Flick had what could be described as a beautifully relaxed, rustic wedding. With a marquee in the garden, a hog roast and an abundance of lawn games; guests were kept entertained for the whole day. We were blessed with a sunny day so the amazing gardens could be explored and photographed. This really was a photographers dream!!! (Well it was for me anyway!)
I hadn't known Ed & Flick long, they stumbled across me at a local wedding fair and I was delighted they called me to arrange a meeting. These guys knew what they wanted from day one, which made my life a whole lot easier - so thank you! :)
Their whole day was full of smiles, laughter and colour. With different coloured bridesmaid dresses, and flowers to an enjoyable amount of Pimms, everything was flowing wonderfully.
We even popped off in to Wimborne town centre for a few photos, giving Ed and Flick the perfect opportunity to spend some well deserved time together on their wedding day.
