Handmade in every way, gold sparkly DM's and dinosaurs - what more could you possible want from a wedding?!
Apart from a sea view and sunshine - NOTHING! And yes we were blessed with all of this, despite the yellow weather warning for rain!
I first had the pleasure of meeting Rebecca and Steve over coffee and cake, talking cameras and weddings - it was love at first sight! But who doesn't love cake?!
I was so excited hearing all about their day, their love for Dungeon & Dragons, Dinosaurs and food!
They had a handmade wedding, from bouquets to button holes, to wedding stationary and centre pieces and of course a golden dinosaurs as a keepsake! Which I am please to say I am the proud owner of one and is now my desk buddy!
Their whole day was beautiful, filled with laughter, smiles and tears - including my own. They wrote their own vows, I couldn't help it!
Come with us, and you'll see, this our town of Halloween...
Lusty Glaze - probably one of my favourite wedding venues in Cornwall. Just five minutes from my front door, a stunning privately owned cove tucked away on the outskirts of Newquay town centre. It is the only place in Cornwall you can legally get married on the beach. With gorgeous sunsets, hidden caves that appear at low tide and rolling waves, why wouldn't this be my dream venue to shoot at! I was over the moon when Lisa and Naomi asked me to be one of their recommended suppliers!
On a warm Saturday in September one of my oldest friends from Dorset was getting married to his dream girl. Dave and Amy are the embodiment of happiness and kindness. Nothing is too much for them, they would literally do anything for anyone if it meant they could help. Dave and Amy adore Cornwall and regularly visit. They had already planned their wedding on Lusty Glaze beach before I had even moved to Cornwall! I was so thrilled to move here and to capture this beautiful wedding! With Dorset friends, happy faces, sandy toes and a Greatest Showman first dance it was definitely a wedding I will never forget!
I was sooooo excited for this wedding. After a year of hard work of advertising and growing the business in Cornwall, capturing a few engagements and vow renewals, I was over the moon to be capturing this gorgeous wedding, and it couldn't get much more local!
Csaba & Grace live in Exeter but believe it or not Grace's parents live across the street from me. They were getting married at the quaint church of St Columb Minor (literally just round the corner from me), then were moving on the Bedruthan Steps Hotel. Just 5 miles north of Newquay, it overlooks the iconic and beautiful coastline known as The Bedruthan Steps. The Granite rocks that are dotted across the beach are, according to legend, stepping stones for the Giant Bedruthan.
With gorgeous sunflowers, sunshine and a hotel over looking the beach (and the surf), with a wonderful couple who could not stop smiling all day, I felt truly blessed to have been apart of this awesome wedding!
On a beautiful Saturday afternoon in July, the lovely Gavin and Ula got married. Ula is originally from Poland but her and Gavin live in Croydon. They adore Cornwall and felt they had to be married down this way. They picked a truly stunning venue - St Mawes Castle. Situated on Falmouth estuary, the grounds stretch down to the waters edge giving you uninterrupted views out to sea and over to Pendennis Castle. You can no longer get married in this stunning locations, so I am privileged to have been given this opportunity.
The day was full of smiles, laughter and canon fire!!! Here's a selection of their awesome day!
