I had the pleasure of photographing the wonderful wedding of Mr and Mrs Haine on the 27th August - yes I am slowly getting there with my wedding blogging!
I have been lucky enough to have known Sam since we were 18, back in the days of working in night clubs, photographing drunk people and selling them keyrings - living the dream I think it's called...
I met up with Dan and Sam about 2 years before their wedding date - they booked me in quickly which was a lovely feeling to be wanted :) And I'm glad they did, I had so many enquiries for the 27th!
I started the day at their home where Sam was busy getting ready with her bridesmaids and parents - lots of bubbles, balloons, giggles and a few presents!
Hair and make-up was by the lovely Natasha at Natasha Clark Hair & Beauty, I have been lucky enough to work along side Natasha and her team on quite a few weddings, so it was lovely to see her again.
I soon went off to the St Michael & All Angels Church in Coombe Bissett, it was gorgeously quaint and stood on a slight hill in the centre of the village. This church meant a lot to Dan and the family, his father is resting here, so it felt only fitting of them to be married here.
I met Dan and few guests at The Fox & Goose Pub just round the corner, with a drink in hand a lots of laughs it was a great atmosphere to be apart of. We quickly headed off the the church to make sure everything was in order.
We had a slight mishap once Sam and her bridal party arrived - on the walk up to the church Sam managed to get her heel stuck in the drain, and I mean fully stuck! She actually lost the bottom of it. Never the less we continued on, nothing was going to ruin her wedding day.
We managed a few couple shots around the church grounds just before the thunderstorm took over! The amazing car was from RR Elite, driven by a wonderful gentleman called Gilbert - I don't think I have ever met someone so lovely. Nothing was too much for him - hence why the car is beautifully placed in front of the church - thank you! :)
Once the rain and thunder took hold we headed over to The Marsham Court Hotel on East Cliff in Bournemouth, where amazingly the sun was shining! We met the wedding party out on the balcony over looking the pool. With drinks in hand and guests basking in the August sun, it was a perfect afternoon!
We soon headed inside ready for a feast and speeches - the whole room was roaring with laughter with funny and kind words.
And I need to take a moment to mention the wine glass centre pieces - so in love and they created them themselves!!
