Intimate Weddings at Treseren

Treseren - for small weddings with a big style. This gorgeous country house tucked away in the countryside of Newquay has charm, character, style, beauty and even a bit of sass with it's awesome cocktail bar! I can guarantee to you that Treseren will not disappoint on any level.

Driving up to the stunning Georgian house, the sun shining, the wind calm, I was so excited for Kerry and Harry's wedding. Their day filled with close family and friends, a small intimate affair with the ones they love and of course the sausage dog Hank.

I could not get enough of this day, the vibrant oranges of autumn mixed with glorious October sun. As a wedding Photographer I felt truly blessed to be here. The whole family made me feel so welcome, with some from Portsmouth where my family were from and others having lived in Teignmouth, Devon a year or so from me living there. It felt like fate had aligned and we were all exactly where we should be at that time. Exchanging stories and of course celebrating the happy couple.

Midway through the day Kerry, Harry, Hank and I dashed off for a quick trip to Holywell Bay. Just a short drive from the venue, this gorgeous beach with epic sand dunes, a meandering stream and it's icon Gull Rocks is perfect for a quick wedding photoshoot! Kerry rocked her leather jacket in the sea breeze, while Hank thoroughly enjoyed running along the shoreline.

Now I know I said on Instagram I would heavily feature Hank, and well I he's in a fair few shots above, but of course that is not enough I am sure. Hank and I had a complicated relationship on the day. It started out wonderfully, like any avid animal lover would dream about. Unfortunately, I soon lost his trust when I stopped stroking him and pointed a camera at him. The day continued with Hank forever barking at me when he saw the camera in front of my face. Luckily, the best man sorted me out with some dog treats and I managed to slowly win Hank's friendship once again. Thanks for being so sassy and cute Hank!
