2020 Weddings VS CoronavirusBRING IT ON!

Lurking beyond the farming fields and deep into the woods of Winterborne Zelston in North Dorset, a magical place would appear once a year. As you stepped along the woodland trail and around the bend, the woods would open and a sea of blue would stop you in your tracks, filling you with pure delight. My wonderful friend and awesome wedding planner, Rachel, organised a team, sorted dresses, head pieces and even homemade confetti for an incredible elopement styled wedding shoot amongst the stunning bluebells ❣ The Dream Team: Planner/Organiser/Queen B - Rachel at Exquisitely You Wedding Planning Makeup Artist/Glitter Princess - Louise at Timeless Beauty The Hair Wizardess - Emma at Emma Garside Mobile Hairdress Flower Fairy - Natasha at With Love From Floristry Photography - Myself Models - Holly & Jamie I had the pleasure of capturing the lovely Rob and Bex get married at Stockbridge Farm Barn, a gorgeous rustic barn a few miles from Sherborne. I met Rob and Bex a while back at their home in Southampton and we instantly clicked, their cats also loved me! They are a very chilled out couple who, like everyone, hates having their photograph taken. But having a stunning relaxed venue, a sunny day ad my relaxed approach set us on a very fun journey!
Due to the amazing weather we were lucky enough to have the wedding outdoors under the barn roof. It was absolutely perfect! The beautiful DIY rustic wedding took place at St Andrew's Church in Kinson, then moved on to the picturesque marquee by the river at Dean's Court in Wimborne. The whole wedding was full of laughter and tears, gorgeous colours and wonderful grounds to explore!
I met the girls and Dad at Grace's parents house before meeting Matt at the church. With a slight hangover from the pre-wedding family meal, Grace was soon ready to pop the bubbles and enjoy being pampered with hair and make-up. It was then on to the church to meet Matt and the wedding guests. The ceremony was beautifully executed, with help from their family friend and vicar from Wadebridge, Cornwall to add some personal touches. After a creative attempt on confetti - where one box was passed between all the guests - we headed on to Dean's Court. Here we had prosecco waiting, garden games and finally the sun came out to join us... My first wedding of 2018 was quite possibly one of my favourites ever and also my first ever Mrs & Mrs! I have had the pleasure of knowing Charlie for well over 10 years, with her wonderful mum, Michelle, being my trampoline coach as teenager. Charlie and I used to coach gymnastics together, along with her sister and bridesmaid, Lucy. It was awesome to catch up with them all through hair and makeup. I met Mel on our first consultation over coffee, with a love for sport and adventure I could see that Charlie and Mel were the perfect match.
My morning started early on Saturday 10th March, after some heavy snow during the week, we were lucky to have snow free roads and lovely sunshine through the day. First up for hair and make up, by the super talented Caroline and Elke at Amazing-Face Bridal Hair & Make Up Dorset, was Charlie (Team Ryall). Where we sipped coffee and nibbled on biscuits, caught up with from the past 10 years, reminisced over our gym days and wow'd over her stunning wedding dress which was originally her Grandmother's 55 years ago! |
