The wonderful wedding of Daniel & Sarah was one I was looking forward to. Their love for Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, Pokemon and The Hobbit played a huge part in their wedding planning process, and they did not disappoint! Special mention to the AMAZING hand painted Lord Of The Rings shoes!!! I arrived with Lisa, my lovely second shooter, at 8.30am ready to start the bridal preparations. The sun was shining, hair and make up was in full flow and the tipi at the bottom of Sarah's mum's garden was getting decorated. Mid morning, Lisa joined Daniel and his groomsmen. Greeted by them tucking in to their breakfast, ironing their shirts and doing the final touches to speeches before following them to St John The Baptist Church. The service was perfect, with lanterns welcoming Sarah down the aisle, a full choir were sitting in the chancel and guests were awaiting her arrival. I have never attended a wedding with a full choir and it was absolutely beautiful to witness. I was lucky enough to be allowed to hide behind them near the alter to capture wedding. Sarah's mum's house was a short walk from the church which is where the afternoon and evenings proceedings would take place. Unfortunately the glorious sunshine of the morning didn't hang around and we pummelled by rain for the rest of the day. This did not dampen Daniel and Sarah's spirits though, they were a couple intending to enjoy themselves no matter how wet, muddy or cold they got! The speeches began and the tipi filled with laughter! It's a little known fact that Sarah is a massive addict to Nutella. So much so that Daniel actually hides it from her, so when her father bought out a gigantic tub of it she had to tuck in! Daniel may have got the short straw by having two bestmen, the banter came in thick and fast, he was not let off lightly but we all enjoyed it! Due to a slight technical hitch Daniel and Sarah got two first dances, well one and a half! For some reason there were no lyrics so we quickly found it on Spotify and I chucked my phone to the band to plug it in!
