My last wedding of 2016 fell on Guy Fawkes Night, so this was undoubtable going to end with sparklers and dancing! :D Needless to say Lisa and I were very excited! We met Charlotte in her beautiful bridal room at The East Close Hotel, they had booked out the whole hotel so we were in there thick of the bridal preparation with bridesmaids and parents getting ready for the days events - with the bubbles flowing nicely! I ventured downstairs to meet Mark and his groomsmen, they were all in high spirits - especially as the bar was open. The wedding breakfast room was decked out with a beautiful winter feel, full of pine cones and sparkle - oh and some sloe gin ready for those speeches later! Mark and Charlotte have such big personalities, forever smiling and laughing. I knew the whole day was going to be great fun but I have to say I think this was the funniest service I have ever witnessed! As tradition goes the brides father tends to give the bride away. Luckily for us the registrar was on auto pilot and so mistakingly referred to Charlotte's mum as her father! She took it well don't panic! During the vows where Charlotte was meant to say 'I take the Mark...' she managed to forget his name! And finally as Mark gets handed Charlotte's wedding ring from his brother, he goes and drops it on the floor. Brilliant!!! Now I know what you're all thinking... if the ceremony was that much fun, imagine what the speeches will be like! YES - I can assure you they did not disappoint!!! Roaring laughter filled the room, I was crying with laughter behind the camera and I actually managed to break my boot from almost falling over from laughing! But before we get to that part Lisa and I whisked them off outside into the cold for some photos before it got too dark. I found a new love for curvy walls <3 And as promised the evening ended with sparklers, dancing and lots more laughing!
