It's not very often I get to shoot a wedding on a Wednesday, but I loved every second! I was blessed with glorious sunshine and a wonderful couple. I popped over to meet Anastasia in the morning, all was calm and very happy - I always seem to find the brides which never get nervous :) I was so excited to see her with her mum and bridesmaids, all dolled up with hair net I then headed to The Guildhall in Poole, famous for its cascading staircases down the front of the building it is one of my favourite venues to work at - it also happens to be on my favourite street in Poole , bonus!!! It was safe to say Will was nervous, adamant he wouldn't cry - I knew he would. We all like a groom who sheds a tear, don't worry! The afternoon at Hotel Du Vin was picturesque, the mansion house built in 1776 has been looked after wonderfully, with its original stone stairs and columns greeting you with the front of the building covered by Ivy - it is truly stunning.
Will and Stasia booked out the main Bistro, with large circular tables for their guests to sit at and a delightful buffet to indulge in, all lit by candle light. I then whisked them off to the small beach near the old life boat station down on the quay for some alone time and wonderful photos :)
