Mr & Mrs Weston

On April 2nd 2016, I had the pleasure of photographing beautiful Mr & Mrs Weston. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Upton Country Park, blessed with glorious sunshine, I was ready to kick off my wedding season!
I have known Josie since our teenage rock chic years, where we would regularly spend our Saturday nights at the community hall listening to local rock bands, thinking life couldn't get much better!
As many teenagers are, but don't like to admit - we were wrong! And seeing Josie marrying the charming gent that is David, we were clearly very wrong!

Never have I attended a wedding where not even a second would pass without someone in fits of laughter!
From Josie, the bridesmaids and myself trying to protect the dress from kittens, to the amazing registrar who had everyone in fits of giggles, the many amazing speeches and then on to the Photo Booth - I think everyone went home with sore cheeks!

Upton Country Park is spread over 130 acres of parkland, shoreline and formal estate gardens in Dorset. With its stunningly, grand Grade II* listed Georgian Mansion House and the beautiful botanical Walled Garden, it is a perfect venue for any Dorset wedding.
Built in 1818 Upton House forms the focal point of the estate and has long been a jewel in Poole’s crown. The House and grounds were bequeathed to the people of Poole in the 1950s.
With a wonderful well lit drawing room suitable for 70 guests, for me it, was perfect for those natural wedding photos. It was also a really treat to walk though the bookcase to enter the ceremony - how many places have that?! (see slideshow).
I've had the pleasure of growing up just round the corner from Upton Country Park. A great deal of my child hood was spent running round the gardens, climbing the trees, enjoying an ice cream at the cafe and of course, my favourite part, visiting the peacocks!

Thank you to the wonderful Lisa G Photography for being a fab second shooter.
