A Beautiful Brecon Beacons Wedding

Updated: Nov 12, 2021

A weekend spent in one of the most beautiful spots I've experienced in the UK. As a wedding photographer who has a passion for the outdoors, I was so unbelievably excited to receive Elizabeth and Richard's enquiry. A wonderful friend recommended me, I am photographing her Cornish elopement next year which I can't wait for!

Elizabeth and Richard were due to get married on a sunny Saturday in September at Llangoed Hall in Brecon. This was the perfect opportunity for me to spend 2 nights surrounded by nature in Flo (the van). What an amazing place to wake up to and explore! Waking up with the valley of the Brecon Beacons below me, sheltered by the low cloud and fog and surrounded by wild horses; it's far to say I was in awe of nature. I couldn't dream up a better place to sit with a coffee and wake up slow to start a day of hiking and exploring!

The following day, I pulled in to the long drive way of Llangoed Hall, between the bushes stood the historic building ready for the gorgeous day ahead! I met Richard who was eagerly finalising things and meeting guests before the ceremony. Their wedding was idicllic and rustic with naked wedding cakes and wild flowers, perfectly fitting for their surroundings.

The whole day was filled with beautiful and intimate moments, garden games and awesome dance moves.

It was the perfect fairy tale wedding for this adventurous couple, I could happily capture this day all over again!

I honestly can't wait to pack the van up and explore more of the Brecon Beacons and Wales itself!
